Casting Allyson

This is one of two character roughs presented during the casting stage for a current storyboard project. I call it “casting” because too me that’s exactly what it feels like. Based on the client’s description, or copy deck, I discern ethnicity, clothing, accessories, range of expressions, posture plus anything else to aid in defining the overall personality of the character(s). Before the actual boards begin I generally have a solid vision of who my cast members are and how best to render them. In this case, “Allyson” will be played by the woman above. So “yes,” she got the job.
